Meet Rose.

Rose joined the MPO in August 2018 after working in the non-profit sector for 7 years providing training and technical assistance services to non-profits and governments around Indiana and across the country. Prior to her non-profit work, Rose was a private sector consultant for 8 years working for a large national engineering firm and a small boutique planning firm. Early in her career, Rose was on the staff at Ball State University for 5 years providing planning services and adult education programs connected to community and economic development. She holds a Bachelor of Urban Planning and Development degree and a Master of Public Administration degree from Ball State University and has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners since 2002. She and her geologist husband, David, live on the north side of Indianapolis. Rose is an avid runner, cyclist, and triathlete.

Her main responsibilities with the Indianapolis MPO include:

  • Economic development activities
  • Metropolitan Transportation Plan support
  • Special projects management
  • Participates in advanced professional planning activities related to land use, housing, water, and environmental planning projects
