Utility Coordination Whitepaper

The IMPO, with the support of Natalie Parks of Kimley-Horn, is convening regional stakeholders to discuss issues, research solutions, and promote best practices relating to utility coordination. Utility coordination is crucial to the successful planning and execution of transportation projects impacting project timelines, costs, and worker safety.  This project will result in a whitepaper that examines utility issues and impacts in the region (costs, delays, and economic impacts), a summary of peer community and peer state practices, and a summary of legislative issues that affect utility coordination. It will also include a summary of potential best practices or solutions at the local, county, and state levels.
