NOTICE OF MEETING AND PUBLIC REVIEW AND COMMENT PERIOD AND PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE
IMPO 2045 LRTP AMENDMENT #7, AMENDMENT TO THE 2020-2023 IRTIP, AND TRANSPORTATION CONFORMITY DETERMINATION REPORT
FOR THE CENTRAL INDIANA REGION


Notice is hereby given that a joint meeting of the Indianapolis MPO Transportation Policy and Technical Committees will meet at 9am ET at the Ivy Tech College Culinary and Conference Center, located at 2820 N Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN 46208, in conference rooms 118-121. Notice is hereby given that a public review and comment period will be held between May 17, 2021 and May 31, 2021 for a proposed amendment #7 to the 2045 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) and the Central Indiana Transportation Conformity Determination Report. Public comments on these items must be received by 5pm ET on May 31, 2021, sent to Jen Higginbotham at Jen.Higginbotham@IndyMPO.org, 317-327-7587, or by mail to 200 East Washington Street, Suite 2322, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46204.

Notice is hereby given that a public review and comment period will be held between May 22, 2021 and June 1, 2021 for a proposed amendment to the 2020-2023 Indianapolis Regional Transportation Improvement Program (IRTIP). Public comments on these items must be received by 5pm ET on June 1, 2021, sent to Kristyn Sanchez at Kristyn.Sanchez@indympo.org, 317-327-5137, or by mail to 200 East Washington Street, Suite 2322, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46204.

Notice is hereby given that during the joint meeting of the Indianapolis MPO Transportation Policy and Technical Committees, at the time and location listed above, public hearings will be held for the proposed Amendment #7 to the 2045 LRTP, the Central Indiana Transportation Conformity Determination Report, and the proposed amendment to the 2020-2023 IRTIP. Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting and speak during the public hearing. Members of the public who do not wish to attend in person may submit comments in advance to be read aloud during the public hearing. Comments to be read aloud must be received by 5pm ET on June 1, 2021, sent to Jen Higginbotham at Jen.Higginbotham@IndyMPO.org, 317-327-7587, or by mail to 200 East Washington Street, Suite 2322, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46204.

Copies of the items above and all plans and exhibits pertaining thereto are available on the Indianapolis MPO’s website at www.indympo.org, or for viewing in person, by appointment, in Room 2322 of the City-County Building, 200 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Please call 317-327-7587 to arrange a time for in-person viewing of materials, as most staff are working remotely. Written objection to a proposal may be filed with the Secretary of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization, before the June 2, 2021 meeting, at the address above (by appointment), or sent to Jen.Higginbotham@IndyMPO.org, and such objections will be considered. Public hearings may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.

The public participation process described above is used to satisfy the public participation process for the Program of Projects (POP) for the following Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grantee: Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation (IndyGo).

The public participation process described above is consistent with the policies and procedures for public involvement that have been formally adopted by CIRTA, and meets all applicable public participation requirements pertaining to grants associated with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA).
