Meet Jennifer.

Jennifer joined the MPO in August of 2016. Jennifer is originally from Bloomington and studied Biology and Environmental Studies at Oberlin College and received a Master of Science in Environmental Science from IU’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs. It was through coursework at IU that Jennifer first discovered her love of Geographic Information Systems. Prior to joining the MPO, she spent 15 years working as a Geographic Analyst for HERE Maps (formerly Navteq) in Indianapolis.

Jennifer resides in Washington Township with her husband and son. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and visiting parks and museums with her family.

Her current responsibilities include:

• Data/Asset Inventory including traffic count, pavement, and crash data
• Functional Classification coordination
• Participates in advanced, complex professional planning activities related to transportation, land use, housing, economic development, and environmental planning
