Meet Kristyn.

Kristyn joined the MPO in May 2013 and works in the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Section. Kristyn was born and raised in Indianapolis and graduated from Butler University with a Bachelor of Arts degree with High Honors in Urban Affairs. She then went on to Ball State University where she earned her Master of Urban and Regional Planning Degree. Outside of work, Kristyn enjoys staying active with her husband, two young kids, and shepherd dog Sophia and taking the chance to travel and explore new places any chance they get.

Her main responsibilities with the Indianapolis MPO include:

  • Manages the $4.3B Indianapolis Regional Transportation Improvement Program (IRTIP) to implement transportation projects throughout Central Indiana
  • Key member of the IMPO Finance Team alongside the Executive Director and Deputy Director to assist in the daily operations of the the IMPO's $2.5M annual budget
  • Payroll coordination
