Regional Pedestrian Plan
The Indianapolis MPO plans for all types of transportation, including walking. This plan will set regional priorities for walkway investments within Central Indiana. The Regional Pedestrian Plan will build on the previous pedestrian planning efforts of counties and communities throughout the region. With your help, we want to make Central Indiana a safer and easier place to walk.
The draft version of the Regional Pedestrian Plan is open for public review. Send any comments to Danielle Gerlach at Danielle.Gerlach@IndyMPO.org or at (317) 327-5135 by January 22nd.

Public Survey #1
From November - December 2018 we asked you to let us know your preferences and concerns regarding sidewalks, trails, and other pathways in your communities. This was only the first of your opportunities to provide input into this plan.
Public Input & Survey #2
We conducted a survey for the Regional Pedestrian Plan update from May 1 - June 21, 2019. We also posted a video about the project and held a live Q&A session on Facebook in mid-May. The survey is now closed while we work to produce a summary, but you can still check out the videos on facebook!
