NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND REQUEST FOR PUBLIC REVIEW AND COMMENT PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE 2020-2023 INDIANAPOLIS REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

Notice is hereby given that a proposed amendment to the 2020-2023 Indianapolis Regional Transportation Improvement Program (IRTIP) is now being offered for public review and comment. Public comments on the proposed IRTIP amendment may be made by phone to Cole Jackson at (317) 327-5108 or emailed to cole.jackson@IndyMPO.org. All comments should be received by October 19, 2021.

Notice is hereby given that at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, the Indianapolis Transportation Policy Committee will conduct a public hearing on Resolution Number 21-IMPO-019 considering proposed amendments to the 2020-2023 Indianapolis Regional Transportation Improvement Program. The hearing will be held at the Hornet Park Community Center at 5245 Hornet Ave Beech Grove, IN 46107. Members of the public may make comments in person or send comments in advance to the staff member listed above. Members of the public may also listen to the meeting via Zoom. The public participation process described above is used to satisfy the public participation process for the Program of Projects (POP) for the following Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grantee: Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation (IndyGo).

The public participation process described above is consistent with the policies and procedures for public involvement that have been formally adopted by CIRTA, and meets all applicable public participation requirements pertaining to grants associated with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA).
