Notice of Public Comment Opportunity and Public Hearing
for the
Public Involvement Plan
Notice is hereby given that a proposed update to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization’s (MPO’s) Public Involvement Plan (PIP) is now being offered for public review and comment. The PIP guides the MPO on when and how to engage the public in key decisions for MPO planning and programming processes.
The proposed PIP is available to review at the MPO’s office (200 East Washington Street, Suite 2322, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46204) from 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, or online at http://www.indympo.org/whats-underway/public-involvement-plan-update. Comments on the proposed PIP may be made online in the draft document, or to Jen Higginbotham at 317-327-7587, Jen.Higginbotham@IndyMPO.org, or by mail to the address above (attn: Jen Higginbotham). All comments should be received by Friday, May 4, 2018.
Notice is hereby given that the Indianapolis Regional Transportation Council’s Policy Committee will conduct a public hearing on Resolution 18-IMPO-004 to approve the proposed PIP on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at 9am, at MIBOR Realtor Association, 1912 N Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN 46202. At the hearing, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard in reference to the proposed PIP. Written objections may be filed before the hearing with the Secretary of the MPO at 200 East Washington Street, Suite 1922, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204 and such objections will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
