NOTICE OF JUNE 1, 2020 MEETING OF THE

INDIANAPOLIS REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION COUNCIL AND

THE INDIANAPOLIS METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION

AND

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND REQUEST FOR PUBLIC REVIEW AND COMMENT PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE 2020-2023 INDIANAPOLIS REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM


Notice is hereby given that the Administrative, Executive, Technical, and Policy Committees of the Indianapolis Regional Transportation Council (IRTC) and the Executive and Transportation Policy Committees of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will meet on June 1, 2020, at 9:00am. This meeting will take place online and/or by phone, using Zoom, an internet-based virtual meeting tool.

During this meeting, the Indianapolis Regional Transportation Council’s Policy Committee will conduct a public hearing on Resolution 20-IMPO-010; a proposed amendment to the 2020-2023 Indianapolis Regional Transportation Improvement Program.

Copies of the items above and all plans and exhibits pertaining thereto are available on the Indianapolis MPO’s website at www.indympo.org. Written objection to the proposal may be submitted to the MPO before the June 1st hearing and such objections will be considered. At the hearing, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters contained in said proposal. The hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.

The public participation process described above is used to satisfy the public participation process for the Program of Projects (POP) for the following Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grantee: Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation (IndyGo).

The public participation process described above is consistent with the policies and procedures for public involvement that have been formally adopted by CIRTA, and meets all applicable public participation requirements pertaining to grants associated with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA).
