Notice is hereby given that a public review and comment period will be held between August 3, 2021 and August 17, 2021 for a proposed amendment #8 to the 2045 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) and the Central Indiana Transportation Conformity Determination Report. Notice is hereby given that during the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization (IMPO) Transportation Policy Committee meeting on August 18, 2021 at 9am ET at MIBOR Realtor Association, 1912 N Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN 46202, public hearings will be held for the two items above. Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting and speak during the public hearing. Members of the public who do not wish to attend in person may submit comments in advance to be read aloud during the public hearing by the deadlines above and to the individuals above. Written objection to a proposal may be filed with the Secretary of the IMPO, before the August 18, 2021 meeting, at the address above (by appointment), or sent to Jen.Higginbotham@IndyMPO.org, and such objections will be considered. Public hearings may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
The public participation process described above is used to satisfy the public participation process for the Program of Projects (POP) for the following Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grantee: Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation (IndyGo).
The public participation process described above is consistent with the policies and procedures for public involvement that have been formally adopted by CIRTA, and meets all applicable public participation requirements pertaining to grants associated with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA).
