Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Architecture Update

The Indianapolis MPO has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a comprehensive update of its Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Architecture. The Indianapolis MPO’s Regional ITS Architecture is intended to promote continued improvements in the movement of goods and people throughout the region through the implementation of ITS strategies, technologies, and projects. Most importantly, the deployment of ITS strategies, technologies, and infrastructure will help to make Central Indiana’s transportation system safer, better coordinated, and more efficient. In addition, by taking a cooperative multi-agency approach, the IMPO and partner agencies will be able to better integrate ITS-related efforts beyond their boundaries, pool funds, and deploy ITS technologies and projects that benefit not only the Indianapolis region, but the entire State of Indiana. This project will capture all current & planned regional implementations, meet current national standards, and address new and emerging applications.

Responses Due: December 19, 2022 at 3:00pm ET. Deadlines for questions and final submissions are within the RFP document and will be strictly adhered to. Responses to questions will be posted no later than end-of-day Wednesday, December 7.
