Stephanie returned to the Indianapolis MPO in 2008, after leaving in 2003 to pursue other planning and engineering interests. Stephanie has held a variety of jobs at the Indiana Department of Transportation: from a seasonal construction engineering assistant and maintenance worker/snow plow driver to transit planning to construction materials and tests database development to long range transportation planning. She has also worked for the Michiana Council of Governments (the MPO for the South Bend and Elkhart urbanized areas).

Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Affairs from Indiana University's School of Public and Environmental Affairs. She has also completed courses at Purdue's School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI.

The long range Regional Transportation Plan is now Stephanie's main responsibility at the Indianapolis MPO. Her many roles at INDOT, including most recently working in their Long Range Planning Section, and her work at Indiana MPO's has given Stephanie a proficient perspective on the many aspects of good transportation planning.
