Erika Hinshaw joined the Long Range Transportation Plan section of the MPO in the summer of 2009. Erika holds a Master of Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati. She also has a B.S. in Geology and a B.A. in Geography and German from Indiana University. After graduating from IU, Erika served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in The Gambia, West Africa, where she taught math and science at a rural middle school. While working on her master’s degree, Erika worked as an intern at Over-the-Rhine Community Housing and was a Seasongood Fellow with the City of Cincinnati, working in the Office of the Mayor and the Department of Community Development.
